Ramblers' Alumni Society

Who Are We?

We are a non-profit society formed to provide bursaries to athletes living or playing in the Amherst, Nova Scotia area. Our membership is open to all present and past players, coaching staff, training staff, general managers, executives, sponsors, volunteers and supporters of the Amherst Junior Ramblers, Amherst Junior A. Mooseheads, Amherst Senior Ramblers, and the Amherst St. Pats Intermediate A. Hockey teams.

Why have we formed this organization?

Everybody knows how important a post secondary education is, but we also know how expensive it can be. With this in mind, what better way to help than form this society to give deserving athletes who meet the criteria the financial chance to get that education?

How do you help?

You can help by becoming a member. Membership dues are just $50.00 every 5 years, or you can make a donation, as we have applied for Charitable Foundation status and will be issuing tax receipts when this is obtained for all donations or memorials. You can even do both! Members will be notified of bursary recipients, issued an annual financial statement and will be kept up to date on all upcoming alumni events.
